NEW for 2024: Higher ACGA rates could mean more income for you.
For over 300 years, the spirit and insight of St. John Baptist de La Salle has remained the impetus to continue what he began. He recognized Christ in the poor, at-risk, uneducated, and unsupervised children of Reims, France, and understood that he could help change their lives through faith-based education.
Education changes us. It requires an alliance of educators, families, communities, and all the people of God – people who share our passion for faith and values-based education understand there is more to teaching than textbooks. It is an authentic relationship built on firmness and discipline, kindness and compassion, an understanding of each student’s life. A Christian Brothers education teaches responsibility, creativity, the value of community, justice, peace, and inspires a sense of wonder and love for the mystery of all creation.
We cannot do this work without you and your generous heart. Your selflessness reveals the spirit of human generosity in a manner that ennobles us all and changes the course of a young person’s life.
Giving to the Christian Brothers of the Midwest in your long-term plans creates a lasting legacy - for you and for others. It secures our ability to join families in raising young men and women with solid values, brings them into union with Jesus, and develops a desire to give back to the communities in which they live and grow.
Please let us know how we can help you create a gift that appropriately reflects your values and desires. May God continue to bless you and be with you today and always.
Getting Started
There are many planned gifts that won’t affect your existing financial resources, but will have a significant impact on Christian Brothers of the Midwest. Give to the institution you care so much about, while maintaining control and flexibility.
Make a Bequest
A bequest is a gift provision in your will or revocable living trust. All assets, including cash, securities, real estate, and tangible personal property, may be transferred to Christian Brothers of the Midwest at the end of your life.

The Simplest Gift
While you may transfer many of your assets through your will or living trust, a beneficiary designation is the most straightforward distribution of your retirement plans, life insurance policies, commercial annuities, and a variety of financial accounts.
The IRA Gift (QCD)
The IRA charitable rollover (also called the Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD) is a great way to make a tax-free gift to Christian Brothers of the Midwest. It may even satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), too.
